New to Class: Our ChatGPT-Powered AI Teaching Assistant

Class will be making history this year by introducing the first-ever AI Teaching Assistant to live on an online learning platform. The Class AI Teaching Assistant will be powered by ChatGPT and will improve learning engagement and outcomes in live online classes.

The Class AI Teaching Assistant is designed to enhance the learning experience by providing immediate access to valuable information.

Powered by the ChatGPT API, the Class AI Teaching Assistant will allow learners to:

• Ask questions and receive immediate, relevant answers based on what was taught in class.
• Highlight the transcript of the spoken text and have the AI describe the highlighted portion to the student in additional detail.
• Create a “study guide” during or after the live Class that can supplement notes and materials created by the instructor or learner.

Administrators and teachers have full control and the Class AI Teaching Assistant can be easily toggled on or off at the instructor or institutional level.

We acknowledge at Class that AI is an emerging technology and there is still a lot that there is to learn and explore. While there is serious work to be done, the power of AI has immense potential and must be explored to empower students and assist teachers seeking to drive better learning outcomes for all.
