Just two weeks remain before the NFL draft descends upon Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
The Broncos, for the first time in years, don’t need a quarterback. But how about a running back? Or adding another wide receiver to the mix?
Here’s a look at who national draftniks think will land in Denver:
Pro Football Focus | Mason Cameron | Updated April 7

Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
“While Omarion Hampton is the popular option at this slot — and a good one at that — this class is flush with talented backs of all shapes and sizes to fit any system. The receiver group, however, has less depth. Burden is largely being undervalued, ranking 34th on the consensus board and 14th on PFF’s — but is without a doubt a first-round talent. He boasted a 94th-percentile separation rate over his final two seasons, operating primarily out of the slot.” See the full mock draft.
The Athletic | Nick Baumgardner | Updated April 7

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
“One of my favorite players in this class, Egbuka is this year’s version of Amon-Ra St. Brown — a fearless competitor who was a difference-maker from Day 1 inside one of the country’s best programs. As far as I’m concerned, he’d qualify as the ‘Joker’ weapon Sean Payton wants.” See the full mock draft.
CBS Sports | Pete Prisco | Updated April 9

Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
“They don’t have a runner on the roster who gained over 600 yards last year. Hampton is the type of player who can be a a consistent 1,300-yard rusher. He’s a home-run threat who can also pass protect, which is key.” See the full mock draft.
NFL.com | Rhett Lewis | Updated April 8

Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
“Hampton is an aggressive, downhill back with an explosive running style. The Broncos are one of the most RB-needy teams in the league. This makes a ton of sense if the UNC product is still on the board at No. 20.” See the full mock draft.
USA Today | Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz | Updated April 9

Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
“With far more discussion than action so far regarding the Broncos’ plans to build out their backfield, Denver sizes up as a virtual lock to take a running back at some point relatively early in the draft. The only question is how heavily the team will prioritize the position. The hard-charging Hampton represents Sean Payton’s chance to take a major swing and invest in the lead back he hasn’t typically gravitated toward.” See the full mock draft.
CBS Sports | Chris Trapasso | Updated April 8

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
“Loveland is coming off an injury but has burst, speed and separation skill at the tight end spot. Good news for Bo Nix.” See the full mock draft.

NFL.com | Chad Reuter | Updated April 4

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
“It might be a tough call for the Broncos to choose between Loveland and running back Omarion Hampton if both are available. I’ll go with the agile, sure-handed Loveland to team up with Evan Engram, who turns 31 in September and is coming off shoulder surgery, as a nice tight end duo with whom quarterback Bo Nix can continue to grow.” See the full mock draft.
More picks:
- Second round, 51st overall pick: Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas
- Third round, 85th overall pick: Chandler Martin, LB, Memphis
- Fourth round, 122nd overall pick: Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon
ESPN | Mel Kiper Jr. | Updated April 8

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
“This is one of the teams to watch for running backs, but Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton are both gone. I think the Broncos could — spoiler — wait until Day 2 and still get a legit starter. The other major way to help quarterback Bo Nix take the next step in Year 2 would be getting him another playmaking receiver. McMillan dominated in college, with 3,423 yards and 26 touchdown receptions over three seasons. He isn’t a blazer, but he can make tough catches with his body control and sure hands.
“Consider this, too: Nix threw 22 red zone touchdown passes last season, tied for sixth in the NFL. Now there’s a chance he’d be throwing jump balls in the end zone to Courtland Sutton (6-foot-4), Evan Engram (6-foot-3) and McMillan (6-foot-4)? Look out, AFC West pass defenses.” See the full mock draft.
More picks:
- Second round, 51st overall pick: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
The Sporting News | Vinnie Iyer | Updated April 4

Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
“The Broncos can use some extra punch to complement Nik Bonitto and newcomer Dre Greenlaw, and they should love Walker’s explosive playmaking versatility under Vance Joseph.” See the full mock draft.
More picks:
- Second round, 51st overall pick: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
- Third round, 85th overall pick: Jordan Phillips, DT, Maryland
- Fourth round, 122nd overall pick: Pat Bryant, WR, Illinois
- Fifth round, 155th overall pick: Sai’vion Jones, Edge, LSU
- Sixth round, 191st overall pick: Luke Lachey, TE, Iowa
- Sixth round, 197th overall pick: Caleb Ransaw, S, Tulane
- Sixth round, 208th overall pick: Jason Marshall Jr., CB, Florida
Yahoo! Sports | Nate Tice and Charles McDonald | Updated April 8

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
“Signing Evan Engram in free agency should not preclude the Broncos from drafting Tyler Warren here. Warren’s potential as a move-around chess piece makes him a fun potential fit with Sean Payton, with his reliable hands and dynamic ability as an underneath weapon providing Bo Nix with a receiving option he can rely on and develop with.” See the full mock draft.
